The short version

Punctum does not ask you to create an account. It does not connect to a server. The books you import and your reading progress are stored only on your device. Your library never leaves your phone or tablet.

What the app does and does not do

• Punctum does not require registration. There is no username, no password, and no email address tied to your reading.
• Imported files are processed entirely on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere.
• The app works offline. It does not depend on a network connection to function.
• Today, no usage data is collected. Punctum includes an analytics layer, but no backend is connected to it, and sending is controlled by a setting you can turn off. While that setting is off, no event leaves your device and nothing is queued for later transmission.
• When analytics become live, the data will be anonymous. The specific fields collected will be listed in an update to this policy.

This website

The website at punctumreader.com does not use cookies, does not track visitors, and does not load any third-party scripts. There is no analytics beacon, no advertising network, and no social-media pixel on any page.

Payments

If you make a purchase, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android). Punctum never sees your payment card details. We receive only the confirmation that a purchase occurred — never your financial information.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
